Amid several rumors, it is also being claimed that the film is expected to feature a parody of one of the most iconic scenes from the 2019 Marvel film, Avengers: Endgame.
Deadpool 3 is Expected to Troll an Iconic Scene From Avengers: Endgame
Renowned for its pop culture references and humor, Ryan Reynolds’s Deadpool has playfully shaded various movies, a trend continuing from the 2016 film to its sequel. With the threequel expanding into a broader cinematic universe, these shades are also expected to grow.
According to a recent claim made by CanWeGetToast, Deadpool 3 would allegedly troll one of the most iconic scenes from the 2019 film Avengers: Endgame. Sharing the possibility of seeing a rip-off of an Endgame scene, the scooper said in their tweet,
“I think it makes sense that the CBM character that makes fun of these movies will also poke fun at the BIGGEST CBM moment ever LMFAO.”
And that scene is expected to be the portal scene where the restored Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy, the Ravagers, and the armies of Wakanda and Asgard gather to fight Thanos. Although specific details about its incorporation into Deadpool 3 remain unclear, it is anticipated to be humorously parodied in the upcoming threequel.
Director Addresses Rumors Surrounding Deadpool 3
Shawn Levy, who is directing the third installment in the Deadpool film series, addressed the rumors surrounding the movie in a recent interview with Wired. There have been several rumors about Deadpool 3, from the movie being associated with Loki’s TVA to the rumored cameo appearances from Taylor Swift.
Talking about the same, Levy shared that he and Ryan Reynolds spend a lot of time scrolling through Twitter and going through the rumors related to the upcoming film. “It ranges from Taylor Swift to Jennifer Garner,” he said, stating the number of rumored cameos in the movie. While he did not confirm or deny these rumors, the filmmaker stated that somehow, “so much misinformation” also works in the movie’s favor, as it is hard to tell what is actually right.
Deadpool 3 is set to release on 26 July 2024.
