The legendary manga and anime series One Piece has entered its final saga and the series has shown the Straw Hat Pirates reaching Egghead Island where they are facing terrible foes such as Saturn, one of the five elders, and Kizaru, the Navy Admiral with the help of Dr. Vegapunk and Jewelry Bonney.
The recent chapters focused on a flashback that revealed the details about Bonney and Kuma’s past and how Bonney was diagnosed with the same disease as her mother. It also shows Kuma trying to find a cure for her disease which leads him to Dr. Vegapunk who wants to use Kuma for experiments.
The latest chapter 1100 focused further on the story and revealed more details about Kuma’s deal with the government and how Saturn and Kizaru were involved in it. One Piece fans after reading the chapter got emotional as they got to see the struggles of Kuma who just wanted to save his daughter. They expressed their emotions on social media by thanking Oda for giving such a brilliant and emotional flashback.
One Piece Chapter 1100 Focused on Kuma’s Experiments
The latest One Piece chapter reveals that Kizaru has reached Egghead Island. It appears from Kizaru’s words that Saint Jaygarcia Saturn instructed him to come here, as did the Marines who followed him. Saturn was aware of Dr. Vegapunk’s deal with Kuma due to the Transponder Snails, which were secretly placed in the lab.
In exchange for the surgery, Saturn makes Kuma become a mindless cyborg and a Shichibukai. Kuma consents, but demands Bonney’s security in exchange. Kizaru watches over both of them as they undergo their respective surgeries on Egghead Island. After that, Bonney is given over to a group of doctors who appear to be World Government operatives.
Subsequently, Kuma bids Bonney farewell and moves on to become a Shichibukai, as apparent demand from Saturn. The chapter then focuses on the other Shichibukais reacting to the news. However, the entire chapter showing Kuma’s deal with Saturn and Kuma bidding farewell to Bonney was too emotional for fans to handle as they expressed on X.

Since the release of the latest chapter of One Piece, fans have been pouring their hearts out over the emotional aspect of the chapter.
Fans not only thanked Oda san for the chapter, but they also declared Kuma as one of if not the best father figures in the history of fiction.

Fans have always loved Oda’s writing but this chapter was on a whole different level in terms of emotional perspective. Not only Oda showed one of the greatest flashbacks of the series, he did it at the time when the series is at its peak with its final saga.
