The Solo Leveling finale is going to cause a huge ruckus among the fans
In the world of Manhwa, Solo Leveling is lauded as one of the best series of all time. The story is also the pioneer for the genre’s popularity, making several people aware, which led to an upsurge in viewership for many other Manhwa.
Ever since the announcement of the adaptation of Solo Leveling by A-1 Pictures, hardly any other franchise has managed to generate this much hype. Despite the formidable start to the story and the stunning fights, the ending could have been better, according to most of the fanbase.
The climax of Solo Leveling was fussed, had many loose ends, and deviated a little from the light novel ending.
After vanquishing Antares, Sung Jinwoo won the battle but suffered many casualties and lost many loved ones. He was not satisfied with the output and decided to change everything. Sung Jinwoo went back in time using the Cup of Reincarnation to change the present.

He entrapped himself and the monarchs in a dimensional gap, who now have memories of what happened in the future and fought them for 27 years, equivalent to 2 years in the real world, and won without losing any of his close friends or family.
One major issue with the ending was that many fights, such as Jinwoo vs. Antares, after the resurrection, were not shown and were entirely skipped, along with details such as how he spent 27 years in the realm.
The ending saw Sung Jinwoo eradicating every threat, making the world free of hunters or any godly being, but at the cost of everyone losing memories of the fierce battle, Sung Jinwoo fought for them.
Ultimately, he turned back into a high school kid and was normal again, which he had deeply desired ever since becoming a hunter.
Sung Jinwoo’s ending in the Manhwa
Towards the closing of the story, Sung Jinwoo also has a wife and son, who, in addition to being his family, are also some of the series’ strongest characters.
Even though he is oblivious and dense regarding Cha Hae-In’s feelings toward him at the beginning of the story, he starts to reciprocate her feelings along his journey as time passes.
Although the ending was not received very well, it was the most suitable for Sung Jinwoo as a character whose only wish is to protect his loved ones.

Sung Jinwoo married Chae Hae-In, and they have a son named Sung Suho, who is now the main character in the sequel series Solo Leveling: Ragnarok.
