The Bear Season 3 Unveils Its Anticipated Release Timeframe
Fans have been eagerly awaiting news about Jeremy Allen White’s The Bear Season 3, and now the release timeframe has finally been revealed. According to Variety, FX chairman John Landgraf dropped the bombshell during a presentation at the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour.
While Landgraf didn’t give us the exact date, he did confirm that Season 3 is set to premiere sometime in June. What’s more, Landgraf expressed confidence that Hulu will stick to its binge-watch strategy for Season 3, meaning all episodes will drop at once on the premiere date.

This is a departure from the traditional weekly release format seen in many other shows. When asked about potential guest appearances in Season 3, Landgraf remained tight-lipped. He said,
“Unfortunately, I can’t [reveal any guest stars]. I was as surprised as you were when the Christmas episode came through the door.”
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see! Looking back, it seems The Bear has a thing for June premieres. The show first hit Hulu screens on June 23, 2022, with Season 2 dropping on June 22 the following year.
Both releases happened to fall on a Thursday. If FX and Hulu stick to this pattern, we can expect Season 3 to arrive on either June 20 or June 27, 2024. But what’s interesting is that Season 3 of The Bear will follow some big Emmy wins.
The Bear Clinches Emmy For Best Comedy Series

The Bear bagged the Emmy for Best Comedy Series, a major win for the whole crew. The show’s been getting tons of praise and rocked the Primetime Emmy Awards in January.
Creator Christopher Storer’s brainchild also snagged nods for writing, directing, and acting, with Ayo Edibiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Allen White in the spotlight. The Creative Arts Emmys showered The Bear with more love, recognizing its editing, sound mixing, casting, and sound editing prowess.
These Emmys honor Season 1, even though the show’s already wowed us with Season 2. Both dropped in June, missing the Emmy eligibility cutoff, so they’re in the running for next year’s awards.
And The Bear didn’t stop at the Emmys. It nabbed three Golden Globes the next day for White, Edibiri, and Best TV Series, Musical, or Comedy.
In The Bear, we dive into the struggles of an Italian beef shop in Chicago after its owner’s sudden passing. Alongside White, you’ll spot Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colon-Zayas, Abby Elliott, and Matty Matheson.
Fans are over the moon about the well-deserved recognition, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for the new season.
