Dungeonborne is a first-person PvPvE adventure dungeon crawler that sees players explore ominous medieval castles and dungeons to hunt for treasure. The game supports both multiplayer and solo play so players can team up with their friends or play solo to get the riches.

Players will face dangerous opponents who are out to get them before they get to treasure and there are several weapons and gears that players can equip to be stronger to face the enemies. Moreover, players need to walk out of the dungeon and castle, in single-piece and breathing to get the rewards they earn during the exploration.

The Dungeonborne demo has garnered a large number of players trying the game and the game is currently at the number one spot of Steam DB’s most-played demos chart with 11,774 currently playing the game. The game has a 24-hour peak of 15,895 players and the all-time concurrent peak is 19,091 players.

Shadow of the Erdtree Does Not Have a Release Date Yet

Elden Ring DLC is still said to be in development and might not be released this month as leaks suggest.
Elden Ring DLC is still said to be in development and might not be released this month as leaks suggest.

Dungeonborne has left behind some of the most-anticipated game demos Backpack Battles, Stormgate, Sky: Children of the Light, Pacific Demo, Homeworld 3, Final Fantasy XIV Online, and several others. The game is also one of the most “Trending upcoming” titles in Steam Next Fest and is also placed in the top 10 in most wishlisted upcoming titles.

The reception of dungeon crawler Dungeonborne indicates that players are desperately waiting for the release of Shadow of the Erdtree but to their disappointment, FromSoftware has not provided any substantial update on the expansion. The expansion was announced back in February 2023 and there have been no updates on the game other than that it is in development.

Several leaks and rumors have only made players more annoyed as the wait for the DLC continues. The latest update on the game stated that the developer is “working hard” on the DLC but it does not have a release date yet, meaning that players might need to wait more than they expected, contradicting the rumors that the expansion might release this month.
