While the arc has answered a lot of questions, it also gives a detailed history of two of the most important characters of One Piece, Bartholomew Kuma and Jewelry Bonney. Their story might be the most emotional one in the entire One Piece. And now they are fighting together to save each other from the horrors of the World Government.

However, their story has not only revealed the details about their past but also gave insight as to how Bonney might have gained the power to not only surpass the Five Elders but Imu itself. This has been made possible by Vegapunk, who was a crucial element in Bonney and Kuma’s relationship and their past.

Bonney May Be Stronger Than Imu

The current chapters focus on the epic battle between the Straw Hat Pirates, Bonney, and Vegapunk against The Navy, Admiral Kizaru, and Saint Jaygarcia Saturn. However, a recent development in One Piece chapter 1106 may have made Bonney more powerful than everyone present on the Egghead Island.

According to Chapter 1106 of One Piece, Bonney has been given the capacity to command the Pacifista, with Vegapunk admitting that he gave Bonney the highest authority in the chain of command, even higher than the Five Elders. After that, Vegapunk discloses that he made this heartfelt choice because he could not bear to see Bonney murdered by a representation of her father or for Kuma to hurt the daughter he loved so much.

Due to her newly acquired ability to command the Pacifista, Bonney becomes the most highly valued person on Egghead and turns the tide against the Marines. Not only that, this even makes her stronger than the Five Elders and potentially Imu as the Pacifistas are one of the strongest powers the World government has.

How Strong Are The Pacifistas?

Along with the Seraphim, the Pacifista made up a significant portion of the Navy’s strength and was strong enough to justify replacing the Seven Warlords. Vegapunk further suggests that Bonney can command not just the Pacifista but also any unit created in Kuma’s image. This implies that Bonney is most likely also able to command S-Bear, the Kuma-inspired Seraphim.

It is well known that pacifistas are powerful enough to defeat pirates from the New World. They have enough power to overcome even the most formidable opponents. They possess various gifts, one of which is the capacity to create resin with their hands, which serves as the strongest defense.

Though it could be the key to avoiding the Buster Call on Egghead, Vegapunk’s choice to grant Bonney command over a whole army of Pacifista will undoubtedly have serious consequences. But if Bonney continues to have control of Pacifistas, she will become one of the most important characters in the final battle of One Piece.
