Over the years, these theories have become more bizarre, and sometimes, they do not even make sense.

However, once in a while, a theory or a notion surfaces on the internet that makes fans interested. One such theory was recently shared on the internet that has been going viral for a long time. The theory states that Luffy and Nami go back in time and they have children who later become important characters of the story.

These children are Vivi, Rebecca, and Shirahoshi, who already have appeared in the series. While this theory seems insane at first, it presents some valid points that may prove that the theory has some credence to it.

Theory States Luffy And Nami Go Back in Time

According to the theory, at the very last moments of One Piece, Luffy and Nami go back in time, and consequently, Luffy becomes JoyBoy and brings together the Kozuki clan, who were the ones who understood the mysteries of Laughtale and constructed the Poneglyphs in One Piece.

Luffy writes on the Poneglyphs, “It was always me, Monkey D. Luffy, the Pirate King, and not you, Roger.” That’s why when Roger’s Crew arrived on the last island, they laughed and found it funny. Following that, Luffy sends an apology letter to Fishman Island, indicating that he is going to obliterate the island in the future.

Nami ensures that they receive easy-to-follow directions. Following that, Luffy and Nami had children whose descendants went on to become the king and queen of Dressrosa, Alabasta, and Fishman Island. This explains the resemblance in looks between Nami, Vivi, Rebecca, and Shirahoshi. Toki is also a child of Luffy and Nami who got lost due to her devil fruit.

Vivi, Rebecca, and Shirahoshi May Be Nami’s And Luffy’s Daughters

If the theory is true, Vivi, Rebecca, and Shirahoshi may be the descendants of Luffy and Nami. This would also explain why all three of them look exactly like Nami. Initially, it was believed that Eiichiro Oda was lazy and he drew all of them similarly just to save time. However, Oda is known as the King of foreshadowing.

It has been proved previously that Oda does everything for a purpose, and he might also have some kind of reason behind all three female characters having a resemblance with the navigator of the Straw Hat Pirates. The perfect explanation for this resemblance comes from the theory stated earlier.

The only thing in the theory that seems bizarre is the fact that Luffy and Nami are going to get married. This is because Oda does not like to include love interests among its characters, which is why love stories are not that common in One Piece. Thus, it can’t be said for sure what the future of Oda’s magnum opus holds.
