Jujutsu Kaisen fans are having the best experience of their life with their favorite anime winning eleven awards at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards, and the manga is slowly reaching its climax. Apart from that, season three was confirmed after season two wrapped up. While the fans thought that it could not get any better, Jujutsu Kaisen dropped another surprise for them.
Season two featured a small yet intriguing fight between the King of Curses and Divine General Mahoraga. It was a cinematic masterpiece, and even with the impending problem, MAPPA did a great job with the animation. With Jujutsu Kaisen season two soon getting a Blu-Ray release, the anime is set to have extra scenes added during the fight to get a better experience overall.
Ryomen Sukuna vs. Mahoraga Is Set To Return With New Scenes
Ryomen Sukuna is the main antagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen. He has a terrifying presence, yet he seems to be calm until absolutely necessary. After a couple of seasons, fans have got a clear picture of his cunning nature. While there were few interesting scenes of him in season one, season two left the fans satisfied with two great fights. Sukuna’s fight with Jogo is one of the highlights of season two, and then there is his fight with Divine General Mahoraga.

More than a couple of months after Jujutsu Kaisen season two concluded, the anime is set to release a Blu-Ray version of the last season. On top of that, the Blu-Ray version will have a few additional scenes during Sukuna vs. Mahoraga’s fight. The fight took place on episode 17. During that time, MAPPA was going through a crisis. So, apart from adding a few extra scenes, it will also have a revised version of the fight.
The fans are pretty excited with the news, especially after knowing there will be extra scenes added. Without a doubt, Jujutsu Kaisen had a perfect end to 2023 and a great start in 2024, and it has kept its greatness intact after three months. Its popularity has reached an all-time peak, and there seems to be no stopping for them anytime soon.
Jujutsu Kaisen Has Been The Highlight of 2024
Since Jujutsu Kaisen season two started airing, there was no way to stop it from absolutely annihilating the other anime at the award ceremony. The season featured Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto’s backstory with the Hidden Inventory arc and teased the fans with the Shibuya Incident arc. The anime made headlines in every related conversation.
The latest news about the revised scenes has got the fans excited, but it is yet to be known whether it will be exclusive for the Sukuna vs. Mahoraga fight or will be revised for the entire season. It is great to see a revised version of the anime, but if the entire season gets revised, it will be a party for the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom.
