After the whole debacle with the Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection, fans were really disappointed with the result. A new leak may have confirmed a pretty good classic that will ease fans of PlayStation: MediEvil will be released on the PS Plus service. This will be the original PSOne version, and probably the 2019 remake.
Insiders and media outlets have reported seeing new updates in both the remake and the classic versions of the game. There is no indication of how this new update will be available in the classic game. PS5 players are very happy about this possibility.
MediEvil and PS Plus could make fans of classic games come back after the Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection disaster
Fans of classic games, especially from the PS2 era, had one of the worst disappointments ever with Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection, a title that didn’t even let players play online, and all the mechanics were wrong; it was just a cash grab. Players are now very frustrated by these kinds of projects that are only a name with almost no real work behind them; not even the controls are well adapted to the new platforms.
According to a new possible leak that Gematsu reported on X, a classic PlayStation PSOne game could be coming very soon to PS5, with a different version.
It is already on the PS Plus Classics catalog. Just saw it there yesterday. Resurrection version.

MediEvil updated its trophy list from the original game, and the remake launched in 2019. As some players indicated, this will be the completely original PSOne version with no other additions, like the Resurrected edition of MediEvil. Only a few trophies really change.
PlayStation fans of classic versions may have a little hope with this new game
The list of updated trophies is from the PS4 versions of both MediEvil versions, so new trophies mean a new platform. PS5 players may have to be ready to receive this not-so-different version of the title.
PlayStation or Sony have not confirmed this; the company has not shown what games will join PS Plus Extra and Deluxe. Fans will have to wait to see if this update really means that both games will be added to the service.
Both PS Plus Extra and Deluxe are a fantastic competition for what Game Pass is for PC and Xbox players. Companies have found a method to enhance accessibility and eliminate the need to purchase every newly released game. These services add and remove titles every month, allowing players ample time to enjoy them all. Fans will have to wait for confirmation of MediEvil’s PS5 release.
MediEvil was a third-person action game in which players controlled Sir Dan after a rather nefarious wizard revived him through necromancy. This game has a very beautiful map with an amazing level design, as well as very original enemies and plot. The 2019 remake was not very well received by fans, but it gave Sony the nostalgic touch it was looking for when the project was announced.
