Fortnite is a massive triumph for Epic Games and has collaborated with countless franchises throughout the years. The developers know how to capture the interest of the gaming community and recent leaks suggest the game will feature its most ambitious crossover yet.
The superhero brand keeps getting stronger which makes sense for the developers to partner up and do some creative things that would appeal to fans and players alike. Theorists claim that a new mythic ability is coming and is heavily inspired by the Fantastic Four’s Invisible Woman.
Fortnite Theorists Think Something Fantastic Is Coming
The latest season of the live service game features a handful of crossovers with different franchises, the most notable being Fallout and Marvel. The Battle Pass features the iconic X-Men supervillain: Magneto and could be the first of many more superhero-themed cosmetic items that will be made available for purchase in the in-game item shop.

Theorists believe that the new gameplay that the developers are working on could be tied with the ability of the iconic superheroine known as Susan Storm aka the Invisible Woman. The developers are working on something labeled Illusory Walls which has the same initials as Storm’s codename and also fits well with her powers and abilities.
Epic Games is gunning for the best superhero gameplay across all genres of video games combined in the past few years. The developers did an exceptional job with the mythic web-shooters of Spider-Man and gave the players the best traversal method of its time, only time will tell how well this new mythic ability will do in an actual match.
Fortnite and Marvel Are Spoiling the Gaming Community
The dystopian vibe of the current season is a perfect fit to feature beings with extraordinary abilities. Susan Storm and the rest of her family will most likely be featured in the future of the game, especially when the live-action reboot is in the works and could revitalize the franchise and Epic Games is pulling its weight through this method.
Perhaps other members of the Fantastic Four will appear in the game as cosmetic items. Recent leaks also suggest that the mutants from X-Men ’97 will be coming to the item shop sometime soon, it is the best time to be a fan of the source material and gaming since this live service game is bringing together the best of both worlds.
The game featured countless variations of superheroes from different brands but this one in particular could be its biggest yet. The heroes have been greatly underutilized and ignored for far too long, perhaps the new mythic could finally show the world the power and potential of the Invisible Woman through gameplay, and will look forward to seeing more of her in the future.
While there is no solid proof to confirm this theory, Epic Games was firm about this crossover. Perhaps there is more than meets the eye and the gaming community should be vigilant for new content that will arrive later this season.
