The immersive open-world RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, is finally announced to have a sequel released soon. We couldn’t be happier to hear it, so we talked to Luke Dale, the voice of one of the game’s titular protagonists, Hans Capon.
While we spoke about his experience voicing for Capon and his thoughts on various facets of the game, he mentioned a specific request he had for fans; one that would be exciting to see come to life.
Kingdom Come Voice Actor Has a Humble Wish
In our interview with Dale, we spoke a lot about his experience while voice acting for the game, its public reception, his insights into some of the behind-the-scenes processes that took place, and a lot more.
We asked Dale about Capon’s stellar character progression from the first game and how the sequel could even top it. He responded with complete confidence in Warhorse Studios to pull something off that’s even better than the first game, which is a very high bar to meet:
I really believe that gamers have something to look forward to.
He mentions that the sequel is going to be even bigger and better than the original game, even in terms of story. If his answers are anything to go by, there are a lot of exciting things to look forward to after its eventual release sometime this year.
In a bit of a pivot away from shop talk, we also thought to ask Dale: if he could take Capon from the franchise and put him in any other title, which one would it be and why? He got straight to the point with his answer:
Just for my own personal amusement, I hope to see a RuneScape Hans Capon someday. Someone make this happen, please.
If any staff from the RuneScape team hears about this, hopefully Dale can get his wish fulfilled.
There’s No Question That Dale Is a Man of His Word
Around the beginning of May this year, Dale posted a cheeky dare on his X/Twitter account. If his post got 30,000 likes, he promised to get a tattoo of the house of Leipa’s Coat of Arms Crest the next time he stopped by Prague (where Warhorse Studios is said to be located).
Of course, we couldn’t let him go without asking him about it. Dale confirmed that “it’s happening, 100%.” The design is in development, and he’ll keep the anticipating crowd updated when he eventually gets it.
Aside from his role as Capon, you might be wondering: What’s Dale’s next move? He says he plans on continuing his travels and making films.
He doesn’t have an actor’s agent, so we may not see him in another acting role again. Never say never, though.
