Arguably the most hyped gaming release is now knocking on the door. Fans’ anticipation regarding GTA 6 right now doesn’t know any boundaries. Rockstar Games has confirmed that this highly anticipated open-world title is coming in the fall of 2025. However, no solid release date has been confirmed yet.
Along with the game come new expectations and demands. There are many new and old features fans want in GTA 6. For example, the six-star wanted level, dual weapon wielding, or the ability to hit the gym after eating anything like in San Andreas. But there is one unique aspect that a fan has pointed out that should be in the game.
Villains to Be Roaming Around in GTA 6?
Recently, in the r/GTA6 subreddit, a fan expressed his views on one unique aspect every Rockstar open-world title should have. In most of the games, we have seen the main villains or antagonists at a certain point of the game, like in a specific mission or at the very end. But this fan wants this villain to be available while the players are on free roam.
Should the Main antagonists of GTA 6 be found around Free roam before their deaths etc?

For example, Steve Haines, who was the secondary antagonist in GTA V, or Gary Smith, the primary antagonist in Bully, we have seen these cult characters only in the final part of the games. The same goes for Andrew Milton, a high-ranking detective in the Pinkerton National Detective Agency who was the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Although we have seen Agent Milton on missions like hunting gangs, he was never seen while free-roaming. However, the main protagonist of Red Dead Redemption 2, Micha Bell, was found in free roam but only in campaign mode, but he was invincible throughout before the finale.
The fan also complains that most side characters are not seen in free roam as well. That’s why they want Rockstar to incorporate villains not only in final missions but in normal free roam as well, like an NPC.
What Else Should GTA 6 Have?
GTA 6 also proves to be a huge opportunity for Rockstar to incorporate some unique features. For example, cops in the game need to be more realistic, like when you point a rocket launcher towards a cop, he will still rely on his handgun rather than dog that missile until it makes an impact.
Moving forward, we have never seen GTA characters interact with the game’s environment. So, Rockstar should implement a feature in the upcoming game like Watch Dogs where players get affected by the environment, like getting imbalanced or stumbled due to nearby explosions.
Talking about needful features, holstering weapons in GTA titles kind of looks a bit odd. The developers are emphasizing the realism of Grand Theft Auto 6, so a realistic weapon holstering animation would be handy.
What do you think? Should Rockstar Games pay heed to the fan’s request to avail villains of free roam in GTA 6? Let us know in the comment section.
