Pop billionaire Taylor Swift, who is continuing to win over the hearts of millions through her ongoing global Eras Tour, has been facing quite a bit of criticism lately. This comes after Dave Grohl, the iconic veteran musician who was formerly a member of Nirvana and is currently a member of the rock band he founded, Foo Fighters, recently took an alleged dig at the female singer.

Apparently, according to the allegations Grohl insinuated during his band’s live show in the UK, Swift’s musicians don’t play live during her smash-hit tours. And, unsurprisingly enough, his controversial statements landed him under the wrath of the Swifties. This is as they are now brutally trolling him and making him realize how his statement was a big mistake he shouldn’t have made.
Dave Grohl Lands a Controversial Spot with Alleged Dig at Taylor Swift
Recently, during Foo Fighters‘ live show on June 22 at the London Stadium in the United Kingdom, Dave Grohl implied something really controversial about the Blank Space singer through his statements. Ostensibly, he insinuated that Swift’s musicians haven’t been honest and allegedly didn’t play live during her tours.

As shared by @PopBase on X, Grohl’s actual statement was:
I’m telling you, man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift. We like to call our tour ‘The Errors Tour’. We’ve had more than two eras and more than a few f—ing errors as well. Just a couple. That’s because we really play live. What?! Just saying.
In fact, he even went as far as saying, “You guys like raw, live rock ‘n’ roll music, right? You came to the right f—ing place” before going on to play Statues.
Needless to say, this alleged controversial jab at the massively fan-favorite Taylor Swift earned him the fury of the Swifties from all around the globe. That being said, getting on all of those fans’ bad side is anything but a good sign for Grohl. This is because the tremendous influence Swift has on her fans is already earning the veteran immense backlash.

Ever since his statement, fans have been jumping to Swift’s rescue, sharing all those controversial incidents that have instead been landing the Foo Fighters singer under intense backlash. Like the time he himself shared that Swift saved him once at Paul McCartney’s party after he got high on pot to the point where he couldn’t even sing properly (via The Howard Stern Show/YT).

As expected, Swifties aren’t letting the veteran singer get out easy from his latest apparent controversial dig at the billionaire singer. If anything, they are doing everything they can to make him realize he messed with the wrong person. This includes them brutally humiliating him through the most hilarious trolling comments possible.
On the one hand, some are showing off the empty seats at this very event of the Foo Fighters live show to critically embarrass the former Nirvana member. Some others, in the meanwhile, are calling out Grohl over all the past discomfiting mistakes he made throughout his career, like getting high at Paul McCartney‘s party and Swift jumping to his rescue.
All in all, here are some of the top comments of all those Swifties on X:

Doesn't he tell a story of being at Paul McCartney's house and being asked to do a song, but he couldn't play the piano, so Taylor Swift saved him from embarrassment by offering to play? This seems an odd way to repay that kindness.

for someone who told multiple times the story about her “saving him from embarrassment” cause she could play piano and he didn’t in Paul McCartneys house this is very bold but also very unnecessary comment pic.twitter.com/skhK5nP1er

Well, this was unarguably an incredibly uncalled-for apparent dig from Grohl at Swift, which seems to have taken a negative toll on him. To put it in a nutshell, it looks like ostensibly trying to push Swift under the bus was nothing short of a massive mistake on the part of Grohl, who is now inevitably suffering the severe consequences of it.
