FX’s The Bear starring Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach became a sensation this year as the series nabbed multiple awards for its lead actors and the show itself. The comedy-drama series has become the internet’s favorite, and with season 3 already out, audiences are loving Carmy’s new adventure with his fellow chefs.

Following the tradition of the previous season, the new season also had a slew of surprising celebrity cameos. One, in particular, wasn’t exactly a celebrity cameo, but an Easter Egg, hinting at a possible interconnected universe with one of Bradley Cooper’s films Burnt, where he also played a troubled chef like Carmy.
Fans Are Losing Their Mind Over The Bradley Cooper Easter Egg In The Bear Season 3

The Bear is no stranger to bringing on A-list celebrities to make quick and sensible cameos in the show. The second season had Jamie Lee Curtis, Bob Odenkirk, Sarah Paulson, and Olivia Coleman playing key roles, and many of them returned for the latest season. Many other new celebrity cameos were seen in season 3, but audiences were the most surprised at a clever Easter Egg in the finale of season 3.
The finale saw Jeremy Allen White’s Carmy and Ayo Edebiri’s Sydney attending the ‘final meal’ at the Ever Restaurant, which is owned by Coleman’s Chef Andrea Terry. At the event, Carmy gazes at photos of people who have worked in the celebrated restaurant (including him). To everyone’s surprise, there is a photo of Bradley Cooper‘s Adam Jones from the 2015 film Burnt.
The film had Cooper’s character, who’s a top chef in Paris, who has to redeem himself after his career takes a downfall due to his substance and alcohol use. On X, fans are freaking out with this subtle and clever reference to the film in The Bear, and now believe that Burnt and The Bear exist in the same universe. Here are some of the reactions,
The new season of The Bear has a split-second shot of a photo of Bradley Cooper’s character in Burnt, implying he exists in the universe of the show. This is going to drive me insane pic.twitter.com/A3BOMWyjdH

I think this implies that Bradley Cooper studied at this restaurant for his role in Burnt, a movie that exists in The Bear

The fictional chefs cinematic universe is real now

to be sure I ask the question: can the film, Burnt exist in The Bear universe and can that explain the frame?

I thought I was crazy. Glad I wasn’t imagining it lol.

Need him to make a cameo asap

The show may be hinting at what the fans are talking about, while it could also be a small nod to Cooper’s film. However, the way it is shown in the finale implies that Adam Jones may have worked in Chef Terry’s restaurant sometime in the past. It remains to be seen whether this possibility comes true and if Cooper makes a cameo in season 4 as his character from the film.
Jeremy Allen White Wants Sam Rockwell To Join The World of TTheBear

Jeremy Allen White‘s The Bear has amassed a great group of actors, and its celebrity cameos have been nothing but delightful to see. The actor still has a wishlist of actors who he wants to make an appearance on the show. One of them is Argylle star Sam Rockwell, and White desperately wants him to be on the show.
In an interview with The Wrap, the actor revealed that he has always loved Rockwell as a performer and believes that he will be a great fit for the show. The Iron Claw star stated that there is always room for Rockwell if he ever decides to join the show. White said,
You know who I love, and I’ve always loved so much, is Sam Rockwell, and I feel like he would fit somehow into the world. Like a buddy of Ebon [Moss-Bachrach, who plays Richie], or something. You know, I feel like he would eally, I don’t know. I feel like there’s room for him in The Bear universe.
Season 3 show had new celebrity guest stars like the previous season, and Rockwell could also make a stellar cameo/ recurring role in season 4. Rockwell has expressed his desire to join the show (on The Tonight Show). It remains to be seen if White’s dream to have him in it comes true with the upcoming season.
Fans can watch all three seasons of The Bear on Hulu.
