YouTuber MrBeast has given away homes, cars, and money to his subscribers and those in need. He has been on a $250,000 vacation, flew on a plane that costs half a million dollars per flight, and so much more. All in all, there is no YouTuber out there whose content can match MrBeast’s. But now, it seems like there is something else going on in the creator’s mind – running for President.

You read that right. MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has previously talked about wanting to run for President when he is about 40 years old. However, it looks like this dream of his is still quite alive in his mind as he recently admitted that he’d jump right into elections on one condition.

The 2024 United States presidential election is all set to be held in November. The competition is between Democrats’ Joe Biden and Republicans’ Donald Trump with a few third-party and independent candidates in the running as well.

However, if the required age limit for the position wasn’t set at 35 years old, there would have been another name in the mix – Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast who is 26 years old.

On July 6, the YouTuber took to X where he stated that if the age to run for President was lowered, he’d jump right into the race.

Back in 2022, MrBeast appeared in an episode of Flagrant, a podcast hosted by Andrew Schulz and Akaash Singh. When asked if he has ever thought about becoming the President of the United States, he stated,

I would love to. I just feel like you have to do a lot of politics leading up to it and I don’t know, like, if you could just go from, you know, no one has ever done this, just being a celebrity to just being President, that would be great.

He added that the thought sure is appealing to him for when he turns 40 or 50 years old. He even has his campaign all figured out.

If I was a billionaire and I just gave away all my money, I was like, ‘I can’t be bought.’ I just give away every penny, literally zero dollars in my bank account. ‘Vote for me,’ I feel like that’s a pretty good campaign.

Who knows, maybe this might just become a reality in the coming years. After all, MrBeast has a ton of fans.

MrBeast isn’t the only celebrity who has shown interest in becoming President. Dwayne Johnson revealed to Variety in 2017 that he was actually considering running in the elections. While his slate was full at the time, he believed that 2024 would be a “realistic consideration.” Of course, that didn’t happen.

Now, Johnson has backed away from politics as it would take his time with his children. He even refused to endorse any presidential candidate and stated, “I keep my politics to myself,” adding that it is now only between him and the ballot box.
