It’s World Mental Health Day on October 10, 2024, followed by ‘Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero day.’ What’s better for keeping our mental-self going than a pinch of video games every day? Fans are getting a lot of them this October, but that could be concerning for the upcoming Bandai Namco game.

The next Budokai Tenkaichi will be here after 17 years and it has been amazing as far as the trailers and fans’ reactions go. But that’s not all; there are a barrage of games coming in the same month. From Super Mario Party Jamboree to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, games are in for a lot of competition.

That Might Not Be the Best Time for a Release This Year

How strange times can get sometimes. We lost Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama in the same year that’s giving a sequel to one of the most popular video game adaptations of the franchise. That will be a tribute to the one who inspired several anime shows we know today.

Yes, we will be remembering him while recreating battles from the original anime, maybe giving them a new touch. But that month brings some of the most anticipated games for fans. It doesn’t go without saying that sales of the Spike Chunsoft game could be affected.

Sometimes, game clashes may become a reason for poor-performing sales, despite the fact that the developers have poured in their blood and sweat for work. Especially when they are up against a giant like Hideo Kojima‘s Metal Gear Solid.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero creators may feel loathed if something like that happens to their hard work. Though that’s unlikely, as the game looks visually stunning, and fans are certainly fed up with some franchises that once kept them glued to their gaming seats.

Although not in the same genre, the upcoming Call of Duty game is likely to be stiff competition to Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. One of the reasons for it was fans’ expectations from the game, as the last entry proved to be a total mess.

Then there’s a Silent Hill remake that might capture fans’ attention. The original game that came out in 2001 was well received by the fans and they might be in for a revamped experience. Though many are inclined towards a movie adaptation rather than the upcoming game.

A direct sequel to the critically acclaimed video game, Life Is Strange, will drop on October 29, 2024. Fans are looking for Easter eggs in the original game ahead of its release so that’s certainly a sign as to how badly they want it.

Whatever’s the gaming landscape will be this October, will be revealed soon, but that solidifies one thing. That is going to be a fun Halloween for gamers.
