The tableau turns even more bittersweet with recent reports from In Touch Weekly’s insiders, painting a picture of Pitt’s dreaded nightmare. Reportedly, the Thelma & Louise star worries that the possibility of his children with Jolie turning against him exceeds his wildest expectations. This is a “dark cloud” that is reportedly hovering over Pitt’s head.

Well, it seems Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s marriage has now become a hotbed for legal battles and family drama. Pitt, in particular, is facing a storm of emotions as he fears the ultimate betrayal from his own children.
With three out of six of their offspring already dropping his surname (see HOLA! Magazine), Pitt is on edge about the possibility of his kids turning against him completely. As we recently learned from In Touch Weekly, the strained relationship between father and children has become a “dark cloud” looming over Pitt, causing him to feel helpless in the face of potential humiliation.
As one insider has aptly put it, Pitt can silence Jolie with his lawyers, but he cannot silence his own flesh and blood.
The source also hinted at a future where Pitt’s kids may decide to air their grievances publicly, leaving their father to face the music without any defense. The thought of his children opening up about their experiences with him is described as Pitt’s worst “nightmare”, a scenario that would undoubtedly be the ultimate humiliation for him.

They’ve stayed totally quiet so far, but at some point down the line it’s very plausible that they’re going to want to tell their side of the story. There’s nothing to stop them from doing it. And when they decide to go ahead and talk, Brad will just have to sit back and take it.
The turmoil of his personal life has taken a toll on Pitt, who, according to another report from In Touch Weekly, is now willing to “surrender” after years of battling with Jolie in court.

According to a report from PEOPLE, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are still working through their divorce settlement after eight years. The former couple, who parted ways in 2016, are reportedly “slowly approaching” a divorce settlement.
Concerning the unresolved matters in the divorce proceedings, “both sides are still talking”, but this is “not done” yet. The insider also disclosed that Pitt barely interacts with the grown-up children but that his involvement with the younger ones has decreased recently because of his filming schedule.
During the 2017 divorce proceedings, Pitt specified to GQ that he and Jolie had reached a stage where “we have been able to work together to sort this out”.
Despite initially denying relationship rumors, Pitt and Jolie later acknowledge that they “fell in love” while filming their spy thriller Mr. & Mrs. Smith (see NY Times).
