In an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Quaid’s father stated that his son showed interest in films from an early age. When he suggested an agent to represent him, his son refused to take any help from him and worked hard to get his own agent. Quaid is super proud of his son’s career and the kind of man he has become. Quaid said,
Even from just a very, very young kid, he had a video camera in his hand when he was like four years old… It wasn’t something we pushed him towards. My agent wanted to represent him and he said, ‘No I want to do it on my own’. And then, of course, he gets an agent on his own. Even more than an actor, he’s just really turned out to be a really fine man.

Recently, he agreed with being privileged of being a nepo kid but says that “I don’t think it undermines my talent” (on The Last Laugh Podcast). Jack Quaid Teases Insane Ending of Season 4 of The Boys
Jack Quaid‘s Hughie has been on an emotionally tough journey in the latest season of The Boys. The character has gone through so much along with other members of the team as they go on a journey of self-reflection and guilt. As the season moves to its finale, fans are expecting some big things to go down.
In an interview with Collider, Quaid stated that he gasped at many moments when he read the script for season 4. However, he was blown away by the ending of the show and calls it an insane one which he did not ever expect. The actor said,
There are certain things in this season when I read them that I audibly gasped. I really didn’t see a lot of the beats coming, and that’s very hard to do for a person who’s been on the show for four seasons. The writers just really outdid themselves. The ending is awesome. The ending is fu**ing nuts. It’s insane. I’m talking about The Boys, so I can swear.
The ending of the penultimate episode teased a big showdown in the finale as the team tried to stop the efforts of Homelander. It remains to be seen what insane shenanigans take place when the finale airs on July 18, 2024.
