From Frieza splitting in half (twice) to the Gohan Beast standing firm to Cell Max’s punch, Dragon Ball has some of the most memorable fighting sequences throughout anime. And there’s this one moment that fans would like to see developers include in the next game.
Tournament of Power in the Universe Survival arc has this fighting sequence involving Jiren vs. Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, where the former is obviously overpowering him. But then we know the latter’s stubbornness since he first appeared in the series.
Those Little Details May Make The Dragon Ball Game More Cinematic
Fans want Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero to be the best game among all the media adaptations of the series. As October 2024 nears, flashbacks have come running through their minds. They want Vegeta to do a ‘backflip Galick Gun‘ in the Bandai Namco game, as he did against Jiren.
The clip shared on social network Reddit shows the Saiyan prince giving his best but still being beaten to pulp. After all, the Universe 11 fighter almost won the Tournament of Power arc; he isn’t that easy to outshine.
Imagine if they found a way to implement this backflip Galick Gun combo into the game.

One Dragon Ball fan believes it could be a “quick escape move” in the Spike Chunsoft game.

Or it can be a “Rush attack“, another one slipped a suggestion.

If the devs have paid so much attention to details in the Dragon Ball game, they should take this into account as well. Maybe that’ll just add more juice to the already cinematic video game.
Thanks to Vegeta’s Saiyan Pride, We Got to See That Backflip
![Universe 11 Jiren is about to charge as seen in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero trailer.](https://fwmedia.fandomwire.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/22152044/Jiren-Dragon-Ball-Sparking-Zero-1-1024x576.jpg)
His fight against Jiren might’ve been among the ones he could never forget. Though he went against the Universe 11 fighter to a great length, he was eventually overwhelmed (again); poor Vegeta.
It was originally Goku vs. Jiren, whom the Grand Minister implied would be the defining battle for the Tournament of Power. As it has always been, Vegeta barged in and demanded the Universe 11 fighter to show his full potential. Certainly, a moment where Captain America would say, “You had to ask?“
The end of this fight was certainly another one of those moments that fans could never really forget.
It had some style. Jiren was impressed by the display of power level that Vegeta presented, moments before he blasted him off at point-blank.
Our Saiyan prince again allowed his Saiyan pride to take over during the battle. He asked Jiren to take his Final Flash attack head-on, which the Universe 11 fighter did. When the dust settled, Jiren stood calm while Vegeta watched him stunned.
What do you think about Vegeta’s backflip from the series? Is it worth adding to the game? We would like to know your thoughts on this in the comments section below.
