During one of their promotional events, the chemistry between Alcock and Frankel was so rousing, it was like watching a fireworks display on the 4th of July. I would wanna play Daemon. It seems like so much fun.

But that was not all. This prompted a really cheeky response from Fabien that had everyone in stitches:

You would be riding me.

Anyway, fans are even more excited about the DCU’s future with Alcock landing the iconic role of Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, in James Gunn’s Superman. It seems like the sky’s the limit for her career.

Milly Alcock: Meet James Gunn’s New Supergirl in DC’s Upcoming Superman

Meg Donnelly is no stranger to the voice of Supergirl in animation, having voiced the character in Jeff Wamester’s Legion of Super-Heroes, but she narrowly missed getting Milly Alcock’s live-action role. Earlier this year, Deadline confirmed Supergirl’s casting in the DC Universe, and it’s none other than Milly Alcock.

Director James Gunn, who was “blown away” by Alcock’s audition, confirmed her casting in the upcoming film Superman (via Instagram). With her previous commitments to House of the Dragon completed, Alcock is now free to take on the iconic role of Kara Zor-El. This new project is a big step for her career, and she is sure to shine in the spotlight.

Moreover, Gunn has made it clear that Alcock’s casting was not solely based on her past work. He even revealed to Variety what fans can anticipate from this iteration of Kara Zor-El:

We see the difference between Superman, who was sent to Earth and raised by loving parents from the time he was an infant, versus Supergirl, who was raised on a rock chip off of Krypton, and watched everyone around her die and be killed in terrible ways for the first 14 years of her life.

That being said, fans can expect to see a different side of Kara Zor-El, exploring the challenges she faces growing up on a rock chip off of Krypton.
