Digital Extremes’ Warframe has been one of the most popular free-to-play games for many years now but players still don’t understand why Digital Extremes hasn’t reworked the alerts tab.
Since this joke has been around for a long time, some fans don’t even want developers to fix it since it reminds most people of Star Wars movies’ intro. The discussion sparked recently after a player joked that his alerts tab is going through their orbiter’s window, reaching the point where they can’t even read the text properly.
Warframe Fans Don’t Want Developers To Fix This Issue
In this viral post on the r/Warframe subreddit, a player pointed out that the alerts tab in Warframe is going through their orbiter’s roof. Although the player claimed that Digital Extremes should fix it, many players clearly don’t want the studios to fix it as it reminds them of another popular franchise.
Uhh… Maybe we need to shorten this thing, DE

This is because of the striking similarity between any Star Wars movie’s intro text and the alerts tab.
Although it would be best for DE to keep it in the game, developers definitely need to do something about it as it gets very difficult for players to see the alerts which are on top.
This Feature In Warframe Is Inspired By Another Role-Playing Video Game
The developer prioritizes player feedback and that can be proved as they plan to add this one feature to the game only because players enjoyed using it in Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3: a romance system.
Creative Director, Rebecca Ford, recently explained that they’ve always thought about adding a romance system in the game but it was the success of Baldur’s Gate 3 that allowed them to execute the idea. She told GamesRadar,
I think two things really gave us the courage to proceed. Of course, the success of Baldur’s Gate and their romance system was like, ‘Okay, like, people do want this fantasy’. It does help, there’s no doubt, but we did have, I should say, ambitions of it, that fit the Warframe architecture, on and off.
It’s safe to say that the community is excited about this addition which will be a part of the upcoming 1999 update, which will be out in Winter of 2024. The studio is eager to provide players with new additions to make the game much more entertaining.
