The post was Rob Liefeld’s message about Lady Deadpool. He also confessed to being a huge Gossip Girl fan.

At the end of his message, he said, “If ever we are blessed with Lady Deadpool on screen I’m pretty certain Ms. Lively will have some say in the casting.” Shocked at this discovery, Lively wrote in her caption:

12 years later I read Rob’s post. A year after that, Deadpool 3 was filmed. And today it’s in theaters. The universe has such a magical sense of humor sometimes.

Blake Lively attended the premiere night of Deadpool & Wolverine by wearing a stunning catsuit that resembles Lady Deadpool’s costume. She posted a carousel of her looks on her Instagram page with the caption:

I took too many photos to share in one post. But I had to post these especially to call out the real hero of the night, Versace for making me the most stunning custom LadyPool couture I could’ve ever dreamed of. It is actual art.

Now this confirms that she really is Lady Deadpool, and even though she only lent her voice – a stunt double performed the fight scenes – she was the basis of the comic book character.
