Insider Reveals Jonathan Majors’ Kang The Conqueror Was Planned To Face Mr. Paradox

On Twitter, famous insider Daniel Richtman or DanielRPK revealed that “the original idea was that Paradox collected Anchor Beings from different universes to create an army to fight the Council of Kangs.” Fans would remember Paradox was played by British acting legend Matthew Macfadyen in Deadpool & Wolverine.

In the movie, the TVA’s Mr. Paradox introduced the concept of anchor beings which served as the purpose of Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine. The term is used to denote a group of select individuals that are vital to holding and keeping together the existence of their reality. Wolverine, in here, was the anchor being.

Now, if the report holds true, then Marvel Studios was planning to do the same – summon powerful anchor beings from different worlds and have them go toe-to-toe against Kang. Hence, Mr. Paradox would play a bigger role in the MCU.

No one knows if there’s any hope in bringing Majors as Kang back into the fold. After he was convicted, he was immediately dropped by Marvel Studios, and now, there’s a new villain in town and that’s Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom.

A fan asked Richtman, “Is Kang totally scrapped or will he return?” to which the scooper answered, “Sounds like he’s gone gone.” Since this is not an official announcement, fans should take his response with a grain of salt.

Regardless, the idea would have been a grand one. Fans would definitely want to see an assemblage of Marvel heroes fighting off Victor Timely’s variants.

Kevin Feige Addressed The Future Of Kang The Conqueror

Marvel boss Kevin Feige spoke with Screen Rant and gave an honest answer as to the situation involving Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror. Will the character appear in future MCU installments?

I’ve done a number of interviews in the last couple of days, and you’re the first person to, I give you credit for just outright asking the question, and I’ll give myself credit for trying to invade it and avoid it entirely.

So, he remains tight-lipped about the possibility of reviving the character. While Majors’ performance was lauded by fans and critics, it would not look good for the studio to keep him around given his controversial case. It might seem like there’s a grain of truth in the scoop.

The idea of Majors returning as Kang in the MCU is too vague for now, especially since the franchise is moving on with more exciting projects ahead and a new villain to watch for.
