Having twins in the movie business is not something new, even if they are identical. But sometimes fans have no idea that a character they love dearly is a twin in real life. From James and Oliver Phelps from the Harry Potter movies to Rami and Sami Malik – one of whom is an Oscar-winning actor, the other a teacher.
Fans usually get to know about twins when both are in the entertainment industry. Like the Olsen twins or the Sprouse twins. But when one is considerably more famous than the other, it sometimes gets lost in the wind that they are part of a pair. And that is what has happened with a The Boys star.
Fans Are Shocked to Know The Boys Star Is a Twin In Real-Life
While sometimes a pair of twins are both in the movie business, in other cases, one of them comes on screen to play different characters, and the other goes to public school. That is exactly the case with The Boys actor Cameron Crovetti, who plays the role of Ryan – Homelander’s son. He has a twin brother – Nicholas, who although has also pursued acting avenues, is considerably less popular. During an interview with his brother (via Instagram), Cameron said:
We actually just finished the first quarter of the year. But he is doing Public School and I’m actually shooting season 4 of The Boys. So, I’m kind of doing a homeschool program in Toronto.
While it is Cameron who plays Ryan, Homelander’s son, his brother Nicholas has joined in as his stand-in a few times so far. Both are actors, having worked together on different projects, but with Cameron’s stint with The Boys, he has become a lot more popular.

The Crovetti twins – Cameron and Nicholas have worked on quite a few projects – both together as well as individually. From the Emmy Award-winning show Big Little Lies to the dystopian action comedy movie, Boy Kills World, the twin boys have been part of the industry before they had even hit 10 years of age. Born to artist parents and having an older sister, who is also an actress, they found interest in the world of showbiz pretty early on in life.
The brothers have also worked on the psychological horror movie, Goodnight Mommy. They starred opposite Naomi Watts in this remake of an Austrian movie of the same name. Unfortunately, the 2022 movie tanked at the box office, only scoring 37% on Rotten Tomatoes. Currently, Cameron was added to the main cast of The Boys Season 4, while his twin brother has come in as his stand-in for some scenes.
