Elizabeth Olsen’s character has been adored by fans as she has had a tumultuous journey in the MCU despite arguably being the most powerful Avenger, as stated by Feige. Olsen and Brie Larson‘s characters stepped up in a big way in Endgame and stood toe to toe against Thanos. When asked by a fan about the most powerful Marvel hero, Kevin Feige has confirmed that Wanda almost killed Thanos and is the most powerful of them all. He said (via Reddit),
I think it’s interesting. If you look at Endgame, Wanda Maximoff was gonna kill Thanos. That’s as scared as I’ve ever seen Thanos, and if he hadn’t said ‘Decimate’ my entire team to get her off of me, I think she would have done it.

Captain Marvel may have won the vote for the most powerful hero currently but her recent appearance turned out to be a huge flop. The Marvels did not work for many people, proving that Carol Danvers has not been fully embraced by the fanbase. However, she will be a powerful ally to have in the next two Avengers films as they fight Dr. Doom.
Kevin Feige Confirmed The Alternate Reality Period Setting of The Fantastic Four: First Steps
Kevin Feige has been talking about doing Fantastic Four right with the property now being under Marvel Studios. The new reboot has been titled The Fantastic Four: First Steps and based on the concept art that the studio has released, fans have been speculating that the film will be set in an alternate reality other than the sacred timeline.
In an appearance on The Official Marvel Podcast, Feige revealed that the new Fantastic Four will be a period film. The studio head also praised how fans pointed out the alternate New York featured in the concept art that was released for the film recently, confirming the film’s events taking place in an alternate reality. Feige said,
It is a period film, and there was another piece of art we released with Johnny Storm flying in the air making a 4 symbol. There was a cityscape in that image. There were a lot of smart people who noticed that that cityscape didn’t look exactly like the New York that we know or the New York that existed in the 60s in our world. Those are smart observations, I’ll say.
The cast of the film including Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach recently promoted the film at San Diego Comic-Con and have started shooting the film. The Fantastic Four have also been confirmed to be key players in the upcoming Avengers films.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps will hit theatres on July 25, 2025.
