One of the major complaints against Henry Cavill’s Superman and his movies was its writing, as opposed to his cheerful nature in comics, the DCEU version was dark and gloomy. But even though the actor was never allowed to capture the true nature of the Kansas farm boy onscreen, Cavill did his best with the material he was given and was extremely passionate about the gig.
Following his love for Superman and superheroes as a whole, prior to the release of the theatrical Justice League, the actor took to his IG to celebrate National Superhero Day. However, the only actor to reply to Cavill’s wholesome post was his DCEU costar, Jason Momoa.
Only Jason Momoa Came to Henry Cavill’s Aid for National Superhero Day

Apparently created by Marvel Comics in 1995, the National Superhero Day is celebrated every year on the 28th of April. In 2017, taking to his Instagram, Henry Cavill shared a photo of himself in a grey hoodie over his Superman attire to celebrate the occasion.
However, it wasn’t the photo that won fans over but the caption, as in true Superman fashion, the actor dedicated the post to the rest of the superhero community.
But despite mentioning almost every superhero actor from Fox, Marvel, and DC at the time, it was only his DCEU costar Jason Momoa, who chimed into the post, replying:
Following your lead love you
Although Cavill won’t be continuing his superhero run in the new DCU, which will kickstart later this year with Creature Commandos, this doesn’t seem to be the case for Momoa.
Jason Momoa’s DC Future Seems Bright

Since James Gunn and Peter Safran pulled the Plugs off the struggling DCEU, reports emerged stressing that Jason Momoa will shift to playing another DC character.
This led many to presume he might enter the new regime as Lobo following the actor’s past comments about the Galactic bounty hunter.

He told Fandango (via Screen Rant):
So, Lobo… I used to collect comics and I don’t do so much anymore, but he was always my favorite. And I’ve always wanted to play Lobo because I’m like, ‘Hello?.’ It’s pretty perfect. It’s the perfect role. I mean, listen, if they call me and ask me to play it? It’s a f*** yeah. But, I mean, that’s a guarantee. So, you don’t have to worry about that. But, I haven’t received that call. So, I don’t want to put any fake news out there but if they ever call me and ask me to play, or ask me to audition, I’m there.
Even though there has yet to be a confirmation about his DCU status, per Peter Safran, he’ll always have a home in DC.
