The gaming community does not doubt that this game will be better than anticipated; however, there is still some skepticism surrounding the game concerning replayability, and others are confident that this will determine the game’s chances of being a game of the year contender. The quality of content is vital to a game’s reception and the developers must find ways to keep up.

The game developers of Saber Interactive admitted that other successful video games inspired this project. Some details of the upcoming Operations mode seemingly take inspiration from Arrowhead Game Studios’ Helldivers 2 which is not a bad idea considering the live service game’s surge of success in its early days.

Modern players have a much shorter attention span, and it can be tough to gain their favor. The gaming community hopes the developers will immediately work on Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 new game plus mode to encourage players to replay the campaign with a new group of people.

The gaming community is after a fun experience that will keep them entertained, preferably for long hours of gaming sessions for the following months. Focus Entertainment was bold to set the level of quality the fans may expect and it is a tall order to keep up and maintain that quality and to improve upon it post-launch.

It would benefit the game developers if they anticipated the hype and thought of ways to keep the gaming community hooked. New Game Plus is a common feature that most video games already have and it would be wise to integrate this game mechanic in a high-profile project like this.

Fans are looking for reasons to spend a few hours playing a game and wouldn’t invest time in playing if it is not appealing or fun. The developers can always reflect on the previous game’s success and carry over concepts that worked like a horde mode.

The anticipation is high and Focus Entertainment has to keep the momentum. The developers of Saber Interactive have a lot riding on this project and it would be a shame to see all their efforts go to waste and not live up to the potential, the replayability factor can make a massive difference.
