An artificially created video surfaced online where the two fought. The fans were shocked to see how real it looked and praised the animation and editing. Even though it was fan-made, it outclassed Toei Animation.
Fan-Made Doflamingo vs. Sanji Takes Over The Internet
The Dressrosa arc was formerly the longest in One Piece before the Wano arc. Several important incidents took during that arc. Between all the chaos, people often forget that Doflamingo once fought Sanji when the former tried to attack the Straw Hat Pirates in Zoro and Luffy’s absence. Sanji protected them from facing major issues, but the fight never got any special recognition.
Recently, a fan-made video surfaced online on the same scenario. The fight is well-detailed and perfectly summed up as a commander-level fight. The fans were astonished to see a fan-made video perform better than Toei Animation’s version. Doflamingo’s strings and Sanji’s Diable Jambe were also showcased. Even though it was fan-made, the characters’ movements mid-fight were in perfect sync. The video even managed to capture the Straw Hat pirates watching the fight from the ship.
Even Doflamingo was shocked when he saw someone put up to him. Initially, Sanji blocked his attack but found himself on the receiving side of the villain’s blows. In the end, Sanji was just about to land a blow, and the ‘to be continued’ sign came up. Several fans commented on the video, mentioning the quality was top-notch. Toei Animation will regret not having seen the video beforehand, as they could have easily signed him.

Doflamingo vs. Sanji’s fan-made video went viral and spread like wildfire. Praise showered down on the video and its creator. Fans were happy to see Vinsmoke Sanji finally getting the spotlight he deserved. Even Eiichiro Oda would be proud after watching the video. The 1-minute 22-second video has racked up thousands of views on social media platforms.

There are countless fight sequences in One Piece, but Sanji is one of the few characters whose scenes lack dynamism. But in the Wano arc, Toei Animation got Sanji the recognition he deserved. He defeated Queen of the Beast Pirates and unlocked his Germa potential. The chef has also proven to be a great help to Monkey D. Luffy in the Egghead Island arc.
