Following the back-to-back success with Dune: Part Two and Wonka, Timothée Chalamet is the hottest name in the film industry. Even though the actor has worked in some of the most critically acclaimed projects in the past, his recent films have become a major hit. His most recent release Dune: Part Two is going strong and breaking records left, right, and centre, and his 2023 release Wonka grossed $632.1 million at the global box office, both coming from Warner Bros. Studios.
Naturally, the studio wants more of the actor as they have made him sign a multiple-year deal. While the fans are happy for the actor, a new fear has been unlocked among the fans as they believe the Beautiful Boy actor might play a superhero that no one wants to see him in.

Fans Fear Timothée Chalamet Would Play Nightwing in DC Following His WB Deal
Timothée Chalamet, who has worked in a wide variety of films such as Call Me By Your Name, Lady Bird, Little Women, Dune, Bones and All, and many more has showcased his range as an actor. However, fans fear that his new deal with Warner Bros. might show him in a potential superhero role of Nightwing as DC is undergoing massive changes under James Gunn.
As the news was shared by Discussing Films (@DiscussingFilm) on X, fans immediately came forward tweeting that they did not want to see the Wonka actor in the role of Nightwing, nitpicking several issues on the actor being a bad choice if he were to play the role.

While DC fans fear the actor might play Nightwing in the DCU, he might be a great addition to Gunn’s Universe as he is one of the best actors, who has established a great reputation. Nonetheless, to portray Nightwing gracefully, the actor must undergo a physical transformation as currently, he is extremely skinny compared to the character featured in the comic books.
