Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra blew the collective minds of everyone in attendance during the State of Unreal livestream of 2024 where countless presentations, demonstrations, and announcements were made. Various industry leakers have shared details of other games that may come in the future and it may be a welcome surprise to some.
Unannounced video game announcements can be a hit-and-miss, while some have solid shreds of evidence to build a case on, others are just pure rumor and speculation. Days before the State of Unreal, the title for the upcoming Marvel game from Uncharted creator Amy Hennig and Skydance New Media was leaked, which gave the leaker some credibility about his claims of a Matrix game.
Marvel 1943: Rise Of Hydra Leaker ClaimsTeases News For A Matrix Game
An X user called Kurakasis has been building quite a name for himself with his accurate leaks. He was one of the earliest scoopers to accurately report the full project title of Skydance New Media’s collaboration with Marvel games and has double-dipped with another Marvel title as well as the Matrix.

While there is no full or solid proof of the project, anyone’s guess about the project is fair game. NetEase Games is developing the other Marvel project and is also said to be working on the Matrix project. The company has had a history of creating mobile games like Marvel Super War, perhaps their upcoming project could be another mobile online battle arena or something else entirely.
Despite not having shown any gameplay at all in the trailer, fans are beyond excited for Amy Hennig’s newest project. The real-time rendering of its graphics as seen in the trailer is a testament to the skill of their staff and if the narrative resembles those of Uncharted games then it will be a cinematic experience.
All Eyes Are On Marvel 1943: Rise Of Hydra After An Impressive CGI Trailer
First impressions last, and if the trailer has laid out what fans can expect for the game’s look before release then a lot of them will be extremely happy and will easily claim that these shots are from a live-action film. The facial animations are out of this world and the animators have captured the likeness of each actor.
Fans of the heroes will be pleased with how they are depicted, it is evident that the game developers have taken a deep dive from the comics and were inspired by their live-action counterparts in the Avengers movies. The visual analogy will catch the attention of fans and will jump in the first chance to play another Marvel game.
The recent surge of superhero games being set in the right direction is very exciting, Marvel’s Iron Man from Motive Studio, Marvel’s Wolverine from Insomniac Games, and future games about the X-Men and Spider-Man based on leaks indicate that Marvel Games are stepping up their game and learned from their mistakes.
