Tom Holland is one of the newest entries in Hollywood and though he seems to be an amateur, his performance says otherwise. Holland rose to fame with his Spider-Man role in the MCU. He made his debut in 2012 with The Impossible and has never looked back ever since. His fame skyrocketed after he starred in the movie, Captain America: Civil War as the young high schooler masked as Spider-Man.
Many things have happened in the recent timeline of MCU and it seems like everyone from Earth 616 has forgotten Peter Parker aka Spider-Man whose identity was revealed to the whole world. With the upcoming movies of phases 5 and 6, many things will unveil as the story moves on related to Spider-Man as he is one of the most important pieces MCU has right now. And it looks like The Fantastic Four might shine some light on Spider-Man’s future in the upcoming cataclysm.
Spider-Man’s Future With The Fantastic Four
Spider-Man has a pretty long history with The Fantastic Four as they have been mentioned alongside each other many times, though it was only in the comics, Marvel Studios are a couple of years behind from their first The Fantastic Four movie and there is a huge possibility that Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man might be linked with Marvel Comic’s First Family. As Spider-Man is currently without a team, it would be logical for him if he searches for new teammates, and with The Fantastic Four movie scheduled to release in 2025, it is highly probable that Spider-Man would link up with The Fantastic Four.
In the comics, Spider-Man and The Fantastic Four have a very close relationship especially Johnny Storm aka Human Torch who played a very important role in Spider-Man’s development as a superhero. And after all the chaos Peter Parker caused with Dr. Strange’s spell in Spider-Man: No Way Home, it is a given that he would want to protect all his close friends and family, thus drifting away from them to keep them safe and potentially meeting The Fantastic Four.
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Till Now
Tom Hollands’s Peter Parker aka Spider-Man was first introduced in Captain America: Civil War, and since then he has not failed to deliver in any movie, as currently, Holland’s Spider-Man is the most fan-favorite character out of all the Avengers remaining. His first movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming was an epic blockbuster and fans loved it, the acting, plot, character design, and Peter Parker’s cast.
The movie collected over $880 million at the box office after its release worldwide with an estimated budget of $175 million. The sequel, Far From Home was even better with a collection of $1.13 billion at the box office, and the threequel, No Way Home surpassed all its previous installations with a humongous $1.92 billion at the box office. Overall, the trilogy has a collection of over 3.9 billion dollars with an estimated budget of $535 million.
The three movies combined have won many awards such as the People’s Choice Awards, MTV Movie & TV Awards, Teen Choice Awards, Saturn Awards, and many others with furthermore nominations.
Spider-Man will return.
