The music video features the music sequence from the game’s Initiation 4: We Sing chapter and brings it all into a live-action music video. The music video features Alan Wake, Mr. Door, Ilkka Villi, and in-game Sam Lake, among others, as dancers.

For those unaware, the We Sing chapter takes Alan Wake to a point where he must make his way through multiple musical segments that take place during a late-night talk show called In Between with Mr. Door. When players move through the level, the song Herald of Darkness plays and various live-action videos play on the screens. The whole segment has been praised by players for its live-action dance, music, and combat.

Alan Wake 2 stands out as a well-crafted psychological horror game that is guaranteed to satisfy fans of the genre. The game showcases graphics, environments, charming awesome storytelling, and skillfully executed action sequences.

Nevertheless, a few players might feel that the pacing occasionally lags and the combat becomes monotonous. All things considered, Alan Wake 2 is a must-play, for horror game enthusiasts.

Alan Wake 2 recently won the Critics’ Choice Award at the Golden Joystick Awards 2023. The game has also been nominated for eight awards at The Game Awards 2023, including Game of the Year, Best Direction, and obviously Best Score and Music.

Although Alan Wake 2 is facing fierce competition from other big games such as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Baldur’s Gate 3 for GOTY, it is still one of the favorites to take the big prize home.
