This means players would be able to battle their most adored characters from the franchise in massive 3D arenas. If a game is centered around numerous characters from a series fighting each other, it needs to have a very large number of characters on its roster. And it looks like 11 more just got added to the list of characters in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero.

Fighting games are catching a lot of steam nowadays; it looks like the times are changing pretty fast. Last year, Street Fighter 6 became an unexpected success for Capcom. There was a good reason for that success, though: it catered to a new kind of fanbase—people who wanted to get into fighting games but were worried about the learning curve.

This year, Tekken 8 did a similar thing; of course, it was going to be a success, but even its developer and publisher could not anticipate how far it would go. The game sold a million units within a day of its launch and two million units within a month. This was a success, as fighting games do not have a very broad audience.

These two games became successful because they found a way to connect with new gamers. People who wanted to learn fighting games. Capcom even gave those players a whole new campaign that only taught them the ways of that game one by one.

And that’s why Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero’s developers and publishers have chosen the right year to launch their game. They have made a fighting game out of a series that many love and they have decided to add numerous fan favorites to it. For those curious, a new set of scanned images on Twitter seems to have revealed 11 new characters that would be in this game.

This is a promising list, no doubt, and it would be a pleasure fighting these guys in this upcoming game. It is pretty well known by now that Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero will divide characters into various categories. These would describe a character’s speed, skill, and energy rates. It would also give players the freedom to adjust their strategy according to the transformation of their playable character.

It looks like it would be one of the most crowded Dragon Ball games out there, as well as one with the most customization of them all.
