Director Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two is yet to hit the theaters but if the early reviews are any indication, the audience is in for one hell of a treat. Reviews for Dune: Part Two Couldn’t Have Been Better
Owing to the early screenings of the sequel, the film currently stands at 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, something which has been quite rare these days. Clearly, Denis Villeneuve and his team knew what they were doing!
Critics cannot help themselves from gushing over the film that has taken attention to detail to the next level! The Independent gave the sequel five out of five stars and stated that it’s “like no other blockbuster in existence.” That’s a bold claim!
Telegraph’s Robbie Collin called Dune: Part Two a “bold and visually astonishing piece of filmmaking.” Rolling Stone also hailed the sequel as a “true sci-fi epic” and stated that it was “bigger, bolder, and better” than its predecessor.
Since it’s quite rare for sequels to perform better than the original film, Dune: Part Two’s reception is further proof of why you should not wait for the film to release on streaming platforms and instead go out to experience it in theatres, especially IMAX.
Dune: Part Two will hit theatres on March 01.
