Recently people spotted that the FRIENDS alum Jennifer Aniston follows a controversial Instagram page, popular for targeting some specific celebrities. Seeing her following a page that constantly bashes celebrities like Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, people have assumed that Aniston is not a big fan of the couple.
However, the list doesn’t end with the royal couple only. The page is also known for targeting Hollywood star Angelina Jolie and the Aquaman actress Amber Heard. People have also termed the page “racist.” The owner of the page is Julie Stone, and she describes herself as a writer.
Netizens also noticed that the Bruce Almighty actress also follows the president of the Archewell organization, Mandana Dayani. While she likes almost every single post of Dayani, somehow, she missed the one featuring the Duchess of Sussex. Many believe that Aniston does not support the couple in stepping down from their royal duties.
As for the Maleficent star, Aniston and her feud have reportedly been going on since Brad Pitt and Jolie got together. The Break-Up star is also known to support Johnny Depp during the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard trials.
Considering Aniston is the only high-profile actress following the controversial page, people have called her an “obvious hater,” and claimed that following the Instagram page reveals her “narcissistic self” to everyone.
What Led the Backlash Against Jennifer Aniston?
During the promotion of Murder Mystery 2, Jennifer Aniston talked about the state of comedy currently. She emphasized that people nowadays easily get offended by anything, and it has made things hard for comedians, as their jokes are often taken as offensive.
The Marley & Me star claimed that things were different back in the day, as people enjoyed the content without being offended by it. “There’s a whole generation of people, kids, who are now going back to episodes of Friends and find them offensive,” she said.
Her statements did not sit well with netizens, and they started calling her out. It seems that after her comments, people began spotting Aniston following the controversial Instagram account and started calling her out for following an account, that spreads hate on stars like Angelina Jolie, Meghan Markle, and Amber Heard.
