Why Did Andrew Tate Label Charlie Sheen as the Top G?

Keeping his admiration for Charlie Sheen’s “passion” short and simple, Andrew Tate reposted an old clip of Sheen’s infamous ABC interview that cost him his stardom with just a simple “G.”

However, for those who are not aware of Tate and his lingos, decoding the true meaning behind it can be a bit of a head-scratcher. For starters, Andrew Tate is one of the most controversial influencers around, notorious for his self-proclaimed misogynistic views and currently facing trial in Romania on charges including r*pe and human trafficking, proudly labels himself as the “top G”.

This title, meaning top gangster, which can imply feared yet respected by all, is often bestowed upon those who Tate believes to have “broken the matrix.” And it seems Charlie Sheen’s unfiltered remarks have earned him the coveted title of the “G” of Hollywood in Tate’s book.

The clip provides a glimpse of Sheen’s ABC interview, capturing just a fraction of his public meltdown. However, this was not it. The saga unfolded over a prolonged period, featuring controversial interviews on NBC, TMZ.com, and an appearance on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight.

Throughout this tumultuous time, Sheen also famously insulted the creator of his show, Chuck Lorre, and was allegedly battling substance abuse and alcoholism and was facing domestic violence charges. His behavior was deemed erratic and bipolar by the public, culminating in his eventual firing. All in all, it was a chaotic chapter in his life.

Charlie Sheen Shows Remorse for His Past Actions

Although the actor received an honor from Andrew Tate, it doesn’t mean he still stands by his comments or any of the actions of that infamous time. In recent years, the actor has shown remorse, and in a 2021 interview with Yahoo Entertainment, he finally explained his side of the story.

He explained to the publication,

“There was 55 different ways for me to handle that situation, and I chose number 56. And so, you know, I think the growth for me post-meltdown or melt forward or melt somewhere — however you want to label it — it has to start with absolute ownership of my role in all of it–And it was desperately juvenile.”

He further continued saying,

“I think it was drugs or the residual effects of drugs… and it was also an ocean of stress and a volcano of disdain. It was all self-generated, you know – All I had to do was take a step back and say, ‘OK, let’s make a list. Let’s list, like, everything that’s cool in my life that’s going on right now. Let’s make a list of what’s not cool.’ You know what I’m saying? And the cool list was really full. The not cool list was, like, two things that could’ve been easily dismissed.I was getting loaded, and my brain wasn’t working right.”

Charlie Sheen is now on the path to recovery, much to the relief of his fans, who are pleased to see him finding success in healing and understanding what led to his past actions.
