But in 2016 they got divorced and now the ex-couple seems to be involved in a weird back-and-forth regarding their relationship and their children. But before there was Brangelina, there was Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt.
The duo exchanged rings in 2000 but called it quits in 2005. It was then alleged that Pitt and Jolie had an affair on the sets of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. What added fuel to the fire were leaked beach pics taken of Pitt, Jolie, and her son Maddox. A memoir then revealed that it was the Eternals actor who set it all up.

Jann Wenner, the founder of Rolling Stone magazine, published a memoir called Like a Rolling Stone, The Last Letter to the Editor: A Memoir. As The Editor-in-Chief of the elite magazine, Wenner had brushed elbows with the greatest of Hollywood and knew some of their best-guarded secrets as well.
In his book, he dropped one such bombshell and it was about none other than Angelina Jolie. Wenner wrote that the famous beach pics taken of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in 2005 in Africa were actually orchestrated by the Wanted star herself.
Apparently, the actress had tipped off one of Wenner’s staff photographers about the location and time of their supposedly private dalliance. Now, it needs to be remembered that back then even though there were rumors about a possible romantic connection between the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star and Jolie, nothing was confirmed.
In fact, Pitt was still married to FRIENDS star Jennifer Aniston then. As such, it is an eyebrow-raising confession if true. But Jolie isn’t the only one Wenner revealed secrets about. He also talked about Tom Cruise in his memoir.

Jann Wenner in his memoir also talked about Tom Cruise and said that the actor basically said a lot of nothing. The ex-boss of Rolling Stone magazine revealed that at the end of the conversation, one might feel that they know the star, but that’s false. He wrote:
“It seemed he was opening up, but in the end he said nothing; he thoroughly deflects. You walk away thinking you know the guy, but all you know is that here is a confident and extremely polite man. He wouldn’t even reveal whether he was for or against [President George W.] Bush.”
Wenner, who is gay, also speculated about the sexuality of the Top Gun 2 star and said that “All his secrecy gave rise to the suspicion that he was gay. I never got a ping on my gaydar.” The memoir felt like a bomb had been blasted in Hollywood. But over time, it seemed like everything was swept under the rug once again.
