In addition to inspiring Yuji, Todo fought beside him in the fight against Mahito. In the most recent episode, Yuji destroys Mahito, but Todo’s assistance is essential to making it happen. However, Todo pays a high price for it. Mahito chops off Todo’s hand during the furious battle. Following that, Todo can no longer employ his innate technique, Boogie Woogie.

Now fans have been wondering whether or not, Todo would be able to use Boogie Woogie again in the future or not. Although, Todo himself has said that his technique is dead there may be a chance for him to use Boogie Woogie again.

Aoi Todo’s Innate Technique Boogie Woogie

Aoi Todo’s natural ability, known as “Boogie Woogie,” enables him to change the direction of anything by clapping his hands and applying the necessary amount of cursed energy. When the user claps their hands together, Boogie Woogie turns on.

It is a technique that allows the user to switch positions with anything that has more cursed energy than a certain threshold. Not including themselves, the user can also swap objects or people. When used skillfully by a cunning sorcerer such as Todo, the boogie-woogie technique is a straightforward yet potent weapon.

During the intensity of the battle, Mahito can initiate his idle transfiguration during a 1 on 1 fight by touching one of Todo’s hands. Todo voluntarily cut off his hand before the transfiguration extended to the rest of his arm, thus stopping him from using Boogie Woogie again.

Theory Suggests Aoi Todo Can Use Boogie Woogie Again

After the latest episode, fans wondered whether Todo would be able to use his boogie-woogie technique again or not. Even Todo announced during the battle that he would not be able to use the technique again which may have been sad news for Todo and his fans as his technique was greatly appreciated.

However, there is a way through which Todo may be able to use his technique again. Jujutsu Kaisen contains several cursed tools. There’s a very good chance that the Jujutsu Kaisen world contains, or can create, a Cursed Prosthesis, which is a prosthetic arm powered by cursed energy.

If a cursed prosthetic arm is created or exists, Todo may be able to use Boogie Woogie again and even become stronger upon his return thanks to the ability to modify and better adjust the device, which could improve the effectiveness of his technique. The theory makes a lot of sense, as it is not too far-fetched and a similar thing has been seen in the case of Mechamaru.
