Pom Klementieff, in a recent interview, recalled a fun story from her time on Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, Part One, set with Tom Cruise. Cruise suggested that Klementieff re-record her French lines so she could fully immerse herself in the role.

The actress conceded that her translation wasn’t perfect, but she felt it added credibility to her performance. Even so, Klementieff couldn’t help but feel a twinge of anxiety, praying that no native French speaker watching the scene would think too poorly of her linguistic abilities.

Still, she has shown that she is willing to fully immerse herself in her roles by delivering her lines in French. This speaks volumes about her dedication to creating multidimensional and culturally accurate characters.

“I kept sending fighting instant videos to my agent and told them that I want to do action movies. I also sent them the updates with regards to my training. My agent then came across a query from the director of the film, Christopher McQuarrie, about an actress who would be interested in doing an action movie.”

She also provided her agent with regular updates on her training, demonstrating her dedication to being both physically and mentally ready for such roles, complementing the videos she had already sent.

After some time, Klementieff’s representative came across a query from the film’s director, Christopher McQuarrie, looking for an enthusiastic actress about action movies. Klementieff’s agent suggested her for the part because she was impressed by her dogged determination.
