It is described as a mentor-protégé story that deals with serious themes like power, corruption, and deception while documenting the start of an American dynasty.

The project is all set to be helmed by the Holy Spider director Ali Abbasi. He was also the brains behind the final two episodes of Max’s The Last of Us. Abbasi is going to be working on a script by Gabriel Sherman who wrote the biography of Fox News founder Roger Ailes, The Loudest Voice in the Room. It also went on to be a Showtime miniseries in 2019 starring Russell Crowe.

However, it must be noted that Donald Trump’s controversial reputation has raised many fans to question the casting of Sebastian Stan for the role.
