When Margot Robbie Kissed Brad Pitt In Babylon

Babylon is an upcoming epic-period drama set in 1920s Hollywood. The film follows Margot Robbie, Tobey Maguire, and Brad Pitt’s characters as they manage to struggle in the changing times. The official synopsis of the movie states that the film follows several actors using various machinations as they witness the rise and fall of the stars.

As intriguing as the plot sounds, the film is directed by Damien Chazelle who is known for directing La La Land (2016) and Whiplash (2014). The film follows a deep dive into the relationship between the trio of characters. Margot Robbie, while on the sets of Babylon, kissed Brad Pitt impromptu. The blushing actor discussed the kiss in an interview with Entertainment Tonight and called it the “tamest” thing that Margot Robbie had done.

“No, not necessarily. There’s always room for character interpretation. Believe me, that’s the tamest thing she does in this. She’s on fire on this. It’s the best I’ve ever seen her.”

Adding her own experience, Margot Robbie opened up to E! News to talk about her side of things.

“That wasn’t in the script, but I thought, ‘When else am I gonna get the chance to kiss Brad Pitt? I’m just gonna go for it.'”

Although the maneuver was totally justified, the movie received mixed reviews but failed to garner enough audience for a blockbuster. The early reviews for Damien Chazelle’s Babylon are out now and they do not look too good for the people.

The trailer for Babylon featured an adrenaline junk of chaos that did not wish to stop even if someone wanted it to stop. The early reviews of Babylon reciprocate the same tale that the movie becomes “all too much” with its whopping 3 hours and 9 minutes of runtime.

Not all of it is all bad though. Many filmgoers stated that they loved the pacing of the movie which went slow at first and then amped up the pace. Full of the early 1920s Hollywood, the film follows the journey of the film industry itself as it goes from black & white films to the color age. The film also made sure that a unanimous say should not exist since it stands at a pretty strong rating of 71% on Rotten Tomatoes but a meager 5/10 on IMDB

Babylon is slated for a release date of 23rd December 2022 in theaters across the US.
