The Video Made Fans Wonder About the Directing Duo’s Scrapped DC Movie

Wondering why Warner Bros decided to shelve Batgirl despite the superhero film being completely finished, fans raised eyebrows.

Adil and Billal also made some cool ass camera work in MsMarvel too. They are really talented which makes me question DCU new boss's comments about Batgirl being bad. https://t.co/3n0qUibHGp

Co-Chairman Peter Safran later revealed to Deadline that he agreed with Warner Bros. and believed that Batgirl was not “releasable”. Stating that if the film was released, it would affect DC and those involved in the project, Safran admitted scrapping the movie forever. However, lead actress Leslie Grace didn’t agree with Safran’s opinion, for she told Variety,
The film that I got to see—the scenes that were there—was incredible. There was definitely potential for a good film, in my opinion. Maybe we’ll get to see clips of it later on.
