Now, the much-requested Photo Mode will be added as another element of the game’s immersive world, allowing players to capture and share their most epic moments to the most unusual in the title’s expansive world.

The Much-Requested Photo Mode Is Coming to Baldur’s Gate 3
After many years of development and visual improvement, Baldur’s Gate 3 managed to achieve visual perfection, so beautiful that many fans missed a mode that adds so much to games as cinematic as this one. Photo Mode has been gaining notoriety in games that use it in a very creative way, recording all types of moments in a unique way, as is the case with Death Stranding, Red Dead Redemption 2, Ghost of Tsushima and Marvel’s Spider-Man
In addition to the eye-catching landscapes and epic moments, Baldur’s Gate 3 also has a lot of humor and a lot of naughtiness on the part of the players when they are given the freedom to do whatever they want. So the desire to fill the gallery with the pretty faces and bodies of the character models is something that caught the developers’ attention.

Michael Douse, editorial director at Larian Studios, responded to a fan on Twitter/X who asked for Photo Mode in Baldur’s Gate 3 on behalf of the “Virtual Photography Community” through fun memes. In his response, which can be seen below, Douse assured that this is coming and on the development team’s priority list.

We still don’t know what else could be on the list at Larian HQ or how long this could take, but those who have been waiting so long for Photo Mode don’t need to let their hopes die because the opportunity to capture images of the Sword Coast, and especially its inhabitants, in the highest quality possible is to come.
Currently, without the present mode and still wanting to register the characters at certain times, players find themselves trying to place their face on the screen without entering into a dialogue or during these conversations, avoiding various facial expressions made the dialogue option is chosen that change the photo at the last moment for something much funnier.
Now, all adventurers will be able to pause to take photos at will when the mode reaches the RPG that becomes more successful with each passing day.
