Currently, Baldur’s Gate 3 is only released on PC, but that hasn’t stopped players from creating such a wide array of stats for Larian to share with the public as Larian has taken to Twitter to reveal using numerous images the different stats that they have taken note for regarding Baldur’s Gate 3 and these stats show that many players are enjoying their experience in Baldur’s Gate 3.

What are the stats, and why are they so depraved and devious?

Throughout this Tweet, there were four images that were shared by Larian, revealing quite a lot of stats that have caught a lot of gamers by surprise as it has revealed a lot of interesting facts that will surprise a lot of gamers as they did not expect such revelations. Below is a list of all the stats in their entirety, as there are a lot of different stats that many gamers wouldn’t have even thought about.

  • 368 players finished the game during the opening weekend.
  • Over 93% of players rolled a custom character
  • Players spent a combined 88 years in character creation
  • Nearly 10% of characters spent at least one hour in character creation
  • Gale was the most popular Origin character selected at 27,784 players
  • Gale was the 7th cause of death for players
  • Paladin was the most popular class choice at over 200K players
  • Half-Elf was the most popular race choice at over 250K players (barely edging out Human at 2nd and Elf at 3rd)
  • Almost 100,000 players have been rejected by Astarion (Shadowheart was the most popular romance option, followed by Gale)
  • One NPC was shoved into a chasm for every concurrent player during peak engagement on Sunday (815,000 players)
  • 12% of player deaths were caused by friendly fire
  • 65.1% of players saved Emerald Grove
  • Scratch has been petted over 750,000 times
  • Players spoke to over 1,400,000 corpses and over 2,400,000 animals
  • Players have played at least 10,000,000 hours (over 1,225 years)

Baldur’s Gate 3 has only been released a week and a half, and it has already gained such a following and player base that many players have enjoyed such interesting and exotic decisions which have led to these stats. The reason these stats are so depraved and devious is because many players have been using the freedom they have in Baldur’s Gate 3 to create a story that fits them and enjoy the options that have been provided to them by Larian which is why so many are taking advantage of the opportunities given to them.

So far, there have already been a lot of players on PC adding to these stats, and they will continue to grow over the coming weeks, but what will happen when Baldur’s Gate 3 releases on PlayStation consoles on September 3rd? When Baldur’s Gate 3 releases on PlayStation, it will be opened up to a broader world of gamers who will be more than willing to jump into the game after seeing so many videos, streamers and Tik Toks which reveal so many of the game’s fun and interesting mechanics.

Once the game releases on PlayStation, we can be sure that there will be a lot more stats that Larian wouldn’t have even thought about, which is just another part of the fun of Baldur’s Gate 3 and is also the reason so many gamers will be excited to jump into the world of Baldur’s Gate 3 and explore all it can offer them. So far, gamers haven’t even scratched the surface of Baldur’s Gate 3, and when players on PlayStation get involved, it will definitely create a lot of new and interesting stories.
