Bandai Namco Entertainment has published some of the most popular games out there, including FromSoftware’s Elden Ring. The game is finally set to get its Shadow of the Erdtree DLC two years after its release, and players are excited about it, but there’s still a wait of over two months.

The publisher has now released three brand-new games on PC via Steam, and they are available for free to all players to kill time as they wait for the release of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, but there is a catch as these new games aren’t as popular as Elden Ring.

The three titles released on Steam are Boomeroad, Doronko Wanko, and Nottolot. The titles are available for free and can be downloaded right now. These Bandai Namco games are developed by Gyaar Studio, which is an indie label within Bandai Namco where new developers work on such games to gain experience and knowledge before they work on other high-profile titles.

Bandai Namco also released three games last year from Gyaar Studio; they were available in Japan, but these new games are available globally. The first game, Boomeroad, is an action-adventure title where players slide along the boomerang they toss. The game is set in an ancient ruin floating in the sky, and players need to collect all the artifacts they can as they slide.

Players play as the protagonist, named Boomy, who must aim for the Ancient Tower, dodge lasers, and use a blower to generate wind to ride the boomerang. There are several areas in the game for players to explore to collect artifacts, and there is also a “TimeAttackMode” that sees players choosing efficient routes and skillfully handling boomerangs to get to a location.

Play as a Pomeranian in Doronko Wanko and as a Little Robot in Nottolot

All the games are developed by Bandai's indie studio Gyaar.

Doronko Wanko is a Doronko action title where players play as a cute and innocent but chaotic pomeranian dog. The dog has to make use of the power that comes from being innocent, cause chaos in its master’s house, and get mud all around every nook and cranny in the house. The more dirty the house gets, players will earn more money to get items to cause more chaos.

Players can also use electrical appliances and other toys around the house to get dirty and spread the damage. The damages are saved as a “badge of memory,” and every new random move has the potential to earn a badge. Players can also customize the pomeranian to get more cute and innocent with new items such as caps and other things.

Nottolot is a free-play robot hacking action game where players play as a little robot called Rolly. The players will use their hacking abilities to hack four other enemy robots to solve puzzles and escape from the robot production factory. Players can get new powers, such as flying and climbing walls, as they roll around the factory, as there’s nothing more to do.
