Secondary slots in most of the games in the series allowed different weapons like pistols, launchers, knives, and more.

Matt Scronce, associate director of design at Treyarch, joined the first ever official podcast that talks about the popular military shooter. They discussed a great deal about what went in there in the upcoming game and announced multiplayer beta will be released on August 30.

The melee game just got to a new level. Players won’t have to sacrifice a secondary weapon from their slots, as they will have a dedicated melee weapon in the game. As users now have three options in their loadouts, melee is likely to be their first choice when it comes to quick kills.

Beginning at the 42:24 mark in the official Call of Duty podcast dubbed COD POD, Scronce revealed that the users will have a dedicated melee weapon when they enter the battlefield.

Modern Warfare Remastered has featured that and one fan was happy to see the feature returning in the Activision game.

It seems like fans are really eager to engage in close-quarters combat.

Black Ops 6 will come up with quite a number of features that fans have never seen before. But then again, it cannot be perfect for everyone. Some fans weren’t really happy about the fact that the new Call of Duty game will be missing looping scorestreaks.

They are marking their calendars, given that it was revealed during the podcast that its open beta will be available a couple of months sooner. Maybe they’ll better get to judge the game when they are actually experiencing it.

The past entry was really a downgrade as far as the standard set by Call of Duty for military shooters goes. Fans are hoping it will change with the arrival of the Treyarch game.

Fans just want the fun to return in the franchise. Ever since the game has gotten the taste of collaborations, it is kind of entering an identity crisis.

Almost all of the games in the Treyarch’s series has been praised by the fans before, hope that will be case here too.
