Nikki Bella, who has been dating Cena since 2012, has been a receiver of many sexist and harsh accusations and insults. Nikki Bella is also quite famous for making waves in WWE matches and has many accolades to her name.
Recently, Bella was brutally slammed by Carmella for dating John Cena. She has even claimed that success is shrouded by Cena’s fame.
Nikki Bella gets slammed by Carmella
Nikki Bella has been dating John Cena for over 13 years now and his fame has brought her a lot of shame and harshness. She has held the title of WWE Divas Champion twice. Her second reign, which spanned 301 days, broke AJ Lee’s prior mark of 295 days. Some snarky comments were made in a WWE arena by Carmella on SmackDown Live last week.
“You can get away with whatever the hell you want around here because your boyfriend is John Cena, the Princess of Staten Island said to whoops from the crowd.”
She continues,
“That’s right, I said it. I said it. I’m not gonna walk on eggshells like anybody else. The only reason you’re still Fearless is that you go home every night with Mr. Hustle Loyalty and Respect.”
This is not the first time the WWE star has gotten backlash about dating someone famous and prominent. She revealed that all the while she has been getting mean comments about her dating choices.
Nikki Bella said her career is harder as she is dating John Cena
While it is obvious that many feel her upward mobility in her career is due to her relations with the famous and powerful WWE wrestler John Cena, Bella reveals the flip side.
“No, it makes my career so much harder, because no matter how hard I work I’m always going to have people take away everything I do because of John. I won’t get certain things because people will be like, ‘Oh, people are gonna think she has this because of John’ so let’s just not give it to me. I have to work much harder being with a successful man to prove myself.”
It turns out that her career is harder than normal, and the weight of proving herself is much heavier as her name is attached to one of the most renowned wrestlers of all time. She explains how important it is to match up to him or else people tend to look over her.
