Zachary Levi was praised by the greatest DC star

It can’t be denied that Henry Cavill was one of the countable reasons that acted in favor of the existing DCEU before James Gunn and Peter Safran took over. He looked exactly like Superman from the comics for both his physique and his performance.

Starting from Ben Affleck to Zachary Levi, initially, there were doubts if those castings would be as perfect as Cavill’s. However, they turned out to be great takes on the superheroes and garnered appreciation for their performances. When Levi took on a social media post to reveal his physique for the role, Henry Cavill also came forward to praise his physique.

As Zachary Levi flaunted his ripped body on his Instagram profile, several fans came forward to appreciate him for his hard work. His DC mate Henry Cavill, who is also known for portraying buffed-up characters commented to appreciate the star.

“Looking fantastic Sir!! Bloody nice work! And your nowhere stare is on point.”

Zachary Levi who has worked both in Marvel and DC, also got the fruit of his hard work when his Shazam garnered huge numbers at the box office. Although there were high hopes from Shazam! Fury of the Gods, the bad timing of the project led it to capsize at the box office. The project was released at such a transitional phase that the fans couldn’t understand its purpose.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods turned out to be a box office disaster this year due to its release during a controversial time for the DC. After James Gunn and Peter Safran were appointed as the new heads of the DCU, there was uncertainty for all the existing actors and actresses. While some of them are going to make a return, others can be seen in different roles in DCU’s future.

While there are no updates regarding Zachary Levi’s Shazam, the actor expressed his interest in continuing the role in an interview with Comicbook.com. He didn’t shy away from admitting that he would be all up to share the screen with Nathan Fillion’s Green Lantern on getting the chance.

“I would love to be able to do more iterations of it. I would love to collaborate with Nathan Fillion’s Green Lantern.”

The Thor: The Dark World actor agreed that the first two movies were amazing and it will be interesting to see if the actor has a fruitful fate in the upcoming DCU. The new slate will kick off with James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy starring David Corenswet.
