Bob Odenkirk Refused to Appear in Marvel
Best known for cultivating a career path that spans multiple genres, Bob Odenkirk kick-started his career in the 90s with the comedy sketch Mr. Show. Thereafter, the actor appeared in several acclaimed projects but earned major appreciation for his appearance in Better Call Saul. Further, his 2021 action movie Nobody, came as a surprising turn for his audiences and fans.
However, after his riveting performance in Nobody, Bob Odenkirk was repeatedly associated with superhero movies like Marvel and DC. Even The Independent raised the question of his future with MCU, after venturing into the action genre. But unfortunately, Odenkirk disappointed his fans by sharing his disinterest in such projects.

“I always like to keep things grounded, relatable, and smaller. I don’t think I’m built for that world. I’m built for characters that make you feel like that guy could live next door.”
Despite refusing the opportunity to appear in MCU projects, fans couldn’t stop but reimagine him in superhero or supervillain roles. Thus, recently fan art reimagined Odenkirk in the role of Knull.
Fanart Reimagines Bob Odenkirk as Knull Ahead of Venom 3
With Tom Hardy‘s Venom 3 creating a buzz on the internet, fanart reimagined Bob Odenkirk in the supervillain role of Knull. According to Marvel comics, the character of Knull was a fearsome primordial deity who was also the creator of the symbiotes. While creating the Klyntar race according to Sacred Timeline 1610, Knull successfully created Klyntar symbiotes such as Venom and Carnage.

Now that Tom Hardy’s Venom 3 is in the making, fans believe it might feature the eldritch god of darkness and creator of Venom – Knull. Thus, with the possibility of Knull appearing in Venom 3, an Instagram user named Artkin reimagined Bob Odenkirk in the role of Knull. After watching Nobody, the Instagram user realized that Bob Odenkirk could easily pull off the character of Knull in live-action if Venom 3 introduced him.
Meanwhile, it is still unknown if Tom Hardy’s upcoming sequel will feature Knull or not, but fans believe that since the Venom movies are all about exaggerated chaos, the supervillain could appear in the upcoming installment. According to fan theory corroborated by CBR, since Venom 2 introduced Carnage, the third sequel could bring in Grendel, the multi-billion-year-old symbiote dragon, which would naturally pave the way for Knull to make his appearance.
