Ronnie Coleman opens up on his viral and expensive diet plan
The former bodybuilder has won eight Mr. Olympia championships, one more than Arnold Schwarzenegger. He opened up on his dietary spending in conversation with Muscle Mind Media. The fans of the bodybuilder were stunned to know about his lavish spending on the enormous diet of the bodybuilding champ.
Coleman shared in the video,
“I was spending at least probably $10,000 just on food. But once I started eating 6 times a day and eating more I used to eat like 10-12 ounces of food”
He said that even after spending massively on his food, he was asked to increase his intake. The muscular hunk also named some items on the menu, like steak, chicken, and turkey.
His nutritionist advised him to eat even more to attain the super giant body. Coleman recalled,
“Then I had this nutritionist like dude you’re not eating enough”, I’m like what? He was like at least 4 or 5 ounces more than what you eating.”
Coleman felt his nutritionist was right as he wanted to build a giant structure.
Ronnie Coleman found it difficult to eat excessive food
The former professional bodybuilder shared in the interview that he followed the nutritionist’s advice diligently, and started eating more. As a result, his body started getting bulky.
Ronnie Coleman shared,
“It was so hard to eat that much food.”
He was a police officer at the time and an aspiring bodybuilder. It was difficult to find a balance between the two. He used to wake up in the middle of the night to complete his meal quota for the day. He said,
“I didn’t have enough time in the day because I was working full time. What I had to do was get up in the middle of the night eat and go back to bed.”
He also shared that he has not eaten pizza since 2007. Coleman has become one of the greatest bodybuilders of the present time with his sheer commitment and willpower.
